    'I’m ready for my close up, Mr. De Mille' - well, it’s not that kind of director! A wedding director is someone who helps direct the wedding day itself, like an air traffic controller of the day’s events. The timing of the ceremony and reception are entrusted to the wedding director. The wedding director will oversee that everything runs smoothly down to the tiniest details, such as pinning boutonnieres on the groomsmen. The director will help with coordinating the minister, the timing of the processional, and making sure that the groomsmen are escorting guests to their seats. She, or he, will also oversee that everyone goes down the aisle on time in the proper order. At the reception she will make sure that the toast by the best man is given on time, and that the cake cutting happens at the proper time. Every detail will be seen to by the wedding director!
