Reception Facilities - Limited

Reception Facilities for your Columbia Wedding

A reception venue with limited services may be the right choice for your wedding day. With some work and a good checklist, any spot can be transformed into the dream site of your nuptials and/or reception. Don’t let your dream location slip away only because it may not have in-house staff to prepare the event. Make sure you do a bit of homework before you sign on the dotted line. Look at parking requirements and accessibility to the location. You may need to make sure that you are allowed to bring in live music, or a D.J., if it is in an urban area that combines commercial and residential spaces. If the location is one of Columbia’s historic buildings, does it have ample electrical access, and will there be adequate air conditioning? If there’s a kitchen, will it be able to accommodate the caterer’s needs?

A limited service locale may require a bit of extra legwork but you also have the advantage of creating everything according to your specifications and the flexibility of bringing in your desired vendors.
