Walter Caudle
Walter's parents gave him his first stereo at age 4 so he would stop
tinkering with theirs. In elementary school, he was responsible for
choosing and playing all the music (from his own collection) for
school functions. By high school, he was organizing student assemblies
and social events. In college, he earned rave reviews as a DJ, emcee,
and event coordinator at private functions and public venues.
He is a Columbia native, USC graduate, and the 4th generation of
his family to be involved in the hospitality business. As a planner,
DJ, and owner of MUSIC & MORE…TO GO, he has been associated with
thousands of events throughout the Carolinas, including weddings,
anniversaries, corporate functions, charity galas, awards banquets,
political gatherings, trade shows, and conventions.
Current and previous affiliations include: Columbia Bridal
Associates Board of Directors; SC Association of Wedding
Professionals; Professional Meeting Planners Network; Columbia
Convention and Visitors Bureau; Columbia Shag Club; SC Society of
Association Executives; Midlands Blues Society; Shag Preservation
Association; and the Association of Beach and Shag Club DJs.
He and wife Carrie live in Forest Acres. They attend Ashland United
Methodist Church.
Charles Koon
Charles brings a unique mix of over 20 years of DJ and special events
experience to our family. A musical fixture in Columbia, Charles has
been associated with some of the area's most memorable venues. For
over 7 years, he was the catalyst behind the phenomenal success of
CrackerJacks "Sunday Night Party."
Long lines would circle the building as the general public,
hospitality industry employees, and DJs from all over the Southeast
would come out for the great mix of dance tunes, retro disco, beach
music, and classic party songs…not to mention the antics of
Columbia's craziest DJ. Even club management never quite knew what to
expect. Charles was truly the "surprise" inside
CrackerJacks.
As his musical expertise has grown, so have his performance skills.
His work with corporate events, wedding, festivals, and other
functions has made Charles one of MUSIC & MORE…TO GO's most
requested DJs. Charles' interpersonal skills, musical knowledge, and
technical experience make him an excellent choice for any event.
Charles, his wife Michelle, daughter Bradlee, and son Chad live in
Irmo. They attend Beulah Baptist Church.
