The rain held off long enough for Nikki and Brian to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the River Road House and Gardens on May 4, 2013. The reception was held next door at the Jasmine House and Gardens, and Nikki made her own wedding topper that looked terrific. It was a fantastic time with close friends and family. Wedding Photos, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Columbia, SC, Lavinia and Brandon

Lots of family was present to help celebrate the joining of Lavinia and Brandon in matrimony at St. Peters Catholic Church in downtown Columbia, SC. They had a fun reception at Rockbridge Country Club and a special appearance from Cocky himself, who couldn’t help but dance with the bride and groom…and everyone there.

April 20, 2013, was a gorgeous day for Amber and Juan’s wedding at the Right Direction Church in Columbia, SC. It was a wonderful ceremony, followed by a great reception. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we were glad we could be there to help celebrate!

Margaret Patterson & Ben Barragan Wedding at Seibels House and Gardens, Columbia, SC

It was a beautiful day for Margaret and Ben’s wedding at Historic Columbia Foundation’s Seibels House and Gardens. Margaret knew exactly what she wanted at her event and she called us in to help her with her special day. Margaret choose moss green to compliment the surroundings at the Seibels house. Winona’s Flowers in Lancaster used succulents in all the arrangments to echo the moss green colors. The cake from Chocolate Nirvana was accented with moss on the antique table at the entrance in Seibels House. The frame tent was decorated with white japanese lanterns, sage green linens, two fantastic farm tables from Palmetto Party Rental, wicker lounge furniture for comfortable seating and a natural parquet dance floor. The marachi band Jalisco Internacional played traditional favorites for all the guest upon arrival and we tray passed Beef Wellingtons and Mint Margaritas. We served old fashioned southern favorites with a flair and added some latin flavor such as Chicken Quesadillas and Beef Empanadas. A special thank you to Ashley Brokopf Photography for providing a super cool photo booth and photograpy services. Everyone had a wonderful time in this gorgeous setting for this absolutely perfect event!

We had a great time in Clemson with Meredith and Dan. They were both wonderful to work with and they brought their purple and orange to show their Clemson Tiger pride! Cinema Couture- Leah and Stephen’s Wedding at Adams Pond, Columbia, SC

This was one of those incredible stories that you just have to see to believe. Leah contacted me for the first time from a Naval ship. She was on that ship until about 3 weeks before the wedding. Planning a wedding from a Naval ship, top that! Wedding and Reception at Adams Pond.

Morgan and Pat had a fabulous time at their wedding reception at 701 Whaley. The venue glowed with romantic flicker of candles. Morgan selected grey as her main color which was very fitting in the urban chic venue. We served some of Pat and Morgan’s favorite southern foods at the reception featuring Beaufort Stew Kabobs, Barbeque Parfaits, Warm Jalapeno Pimiento Cheese and to end the evening we served a decadent chocolate brownie cobbler with organic vanilla ice cream. Thank you Morgan and Pat..we wish you both the best!

Wedding at the Lace House, Columbia, SC – Denise and John

Denise and John tied the knot on a beautiful September Saturday afternoon at The Lace House on the grounds of the SC Governor’s Mansion. Denise and John were so easy to work with throughout the photography process and really just one of the sweetest down-to-earth couples we’ve worked with. They really made their wedding unique with lots of personal touches.

They also know how to party! The reception was awesome…including a choreographed bridal party dance. It was a blast! Hope the governor and her family were able to sleep that night!

Wedding at Shandon Baptist Church, Columbia, SC – Janie and Travis

Janie and Travis tied the knot on July 28, 2012 at Shandon Baptist Church. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know Janie and her mom over the months leading up to the wedding. Such a sweet family!

So, the wedding was absolutely perfect (all those months of planning really paid off)! Janie and Travis are best friends…you can just tell immediately after spending just a few minutes with them. They toasted each other at the reception, and the friendship and the realness of their love and devotion to one another was clear.

The reception was held at the Millstone at Adam’s Pond. Always love working there…such character and Southern charm. And, nothing tops of the evening better than a Grand Exit with sparklers.
